This pipe bowl bears the mark “TD” on the side of the bowl facing the smoker (back of the bowl). TD may have originally been the pipe maker Thomas Dermer of Bristol, England, but eventually the use of TD branding on the pipes was commonly used by many makers into the 19th and early 20th century. This pipe style dates to the late 18th century.
